Background:

I grew up in Northwest Washington, after high school I decided to move to Boise to attend BSU. During college the Boise area grew on me and I decided to stick around. I am close with my family and love dogs.

Education:

Bachelor’s in Accounting from Boise State University

Goals:

In the future I would like to work towards my master’s degree in accounting. In addition to a Master’s degree, I would like to become a CPA.

Why did you choose accounting?

In college I tried a little bit of everything, and I found that I enjoyed accounting the most. Once I started my schooling in accounting, I knew that this would be my career.

What led you to Jack Trent & Co?

I had just graduated college and was unsure of the path I wanted to take in my life. But I knew that I did not want to sit in a cubicle all day. So I looked for a few things in a firm: local, friendly people, and a place that would give me a wide variety of experiences to help me progress in my career.

What is your philosophy towards client services?

My attitude towards all clients is simple: to be courteous, helpful, and understanding of clients’ needs. I also tend to get straight to the point because I don’t like to waste the client’s time.

What are some things you like to do besides work for Jack Trent & Company?

Outside of work, I like spending time outdoors doing a variety of activities. I enjoy playing golf when the weather allows. I also enjoy hiking, cooking and weightlifting.
