With a bookkeeping career that began when she was 15, Terry has developed tenacity and ingenuity when dealing with complex issues. Terry’s expertise spans many industries and she is very approachable and aware of clients’ needs. Now as the office manager she takes her tenacity to keep everything in the office running smoothly and will do her best to make sure all of your bookkeeping and tax needs are in good hands.

Q & A:

How did your bookkeeping career begin at such an early age?
I worked alongside my dad and helped him keep the books for his plumbing company. It was a lot of responsibility for such a young person, but my dad was a good coach and believed in me.

What is your philosophy when dealing with clients bookkeeping needs?
I believe each client should be treated with respect and a smile. Each client’s story is different which means each set of books also needs to be different. We will work hard to fit the bookkeeping to the client and their company.

What strengths do you bring to Jack Trent & Company?
I enjoy meeting new people and listening to their stories. My experience in bookkeeping and payroll has been beneficial as we deal with audits and setting up new companies. I know that I can’t do everything, it takes a team and that is how I feel about the people that work here. We each have our specialty and we combine those specialties to tackle all of your needs.

What’s the story about you when you are not at Jack Trent & Company?
I have 2 great kids that both live on their own. My husband and I enjoy the outdoors, camping, exploring and fishing. I spend time with my 2nd love: music. I teach piano to a few wonderful students. I am very active in our church and work hard at being a good wife and mother.
